Customer Feedback
“Reviewing our user interface with TranslatiOm was a process that took just one working day, and everything went smoothly. We don’t have the professional English vocabulary level that this process required, so a quality assurance check by a professional was a great choice to ensure the functionality of our program. We’re very satisfied with the end result.”

The benefits of linguistic quality assurance
Inconsistent menu item names and the resulting frequent mistranslations of content, terminology, and links all severely detract from the user experience and, in the worst case, prevent the correct use of the software. We’ve encountered these problems again and again when translating a variety of software over the years, and we wanted to develop a product that streamlines the translation process to prevent such issues.
In practice, the materials to be translated are often delivered as word lists that can be difficult to apply to a software product. Problems may arise when the term does not conjugate quite correctly in the usage context, or the source language term’s typical translation does not suit the target language perfectly. Sometimes the suggested translations do not best describe the function, or they may come across as stiff and unnatural.
The Perfect UX® service helps software companies avoid the risk of a negative customer experience by providing their customers with high-quality applications in terms of design, terminology and expression, ensuring that the translation has a solid foundation. If the software is not translated into other languages, we can ensure the accuracy and comprehensibility of the native language version for end users.
In addition to linguistic quality assurance, we also offer some perspective on the user experience of someone who is not involved with the software development process at all. When software is developed over a long period of time, some things may seem logical to the team that’s so heavily involved in its creation at every step of the way, but which may be completely confusing to an end user who isn’t at all familiar with the software. An outside tester can provide immediate feedback and ask questions if something seems illogical. This easily goes hand in hand with linguistic quality assurance.
