Anu Huusko holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and a Specialist Vocational Qualification in International Trade, specialising in language services. She has worked as a translator since 2011 and founded TranslatiOm in 2014. Her work has included building an international network of specialists and managing multilingual projects for companies across a variety of industries.
Over the years, Anu has negotiated with clients and business partners around the world, developed working practices and taken responsibility for the smooth running and quality of projects. Working internationally has also taught her to recognise the problems that can arise from differences in working practices, unclear responsibilities and poor communication.
As a business owner, Anu understands the importance of making good use of limited resources. Not everything needs to be done in-house, but someone needs to make sure that work progresses and commitments are met.
As an advisor, Anu brings together her business education and over 15 years of practical experience in international business to help companies manage and develop their operations.
